Fossen & Struijk Duo
Robbert Fossen & Peter Struijk won the Dutch Blues Challenge 2012. Early 2013, they represented The Netherlands at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, where they, as first Dutch act ever, made it to the finals. This duo guarantees an intense Delta- and Chicago Blues experience.

Chick Rodgers & The Southside Blues Revue (USA/NL)
Melvia "Chick" Rodgers is from Memphis and lives in Chicago. She musically grew up in the church of her father. Gospel is of major influence on her style of singing. With her phenomenal voice she sings a mix of blues, soul and gospel and is known for her renditions of Aretha Franklin songs.
Memphis Soul Stew
In the Memphis Soul Stew several music styles come together bound by their 'black' origin; a combination of Soul-, Rhythm & Blues-, gospel-, funk- and Southern roots music. It is a scalable band from 6 to 12 members.

Luther 'Guitar Junior' Johnson (USA/NL)
March 2017, Fossen Events will be bringing this blues legend back to Europe after about 20 years. Luther was an important member of the Muddy Waters Blues Band in the 70s. Thereafter he founded his band The Magic Rockers to shape his own career.

Over the years Robbert has played with various bands and thus learned to know a lot of good musicians. The Robbert Fossen Blues Band gladly takes advantage of this network by playing in different settings of 5 to 6 members. Usually guitarist Harold "Fat Harry” van Dorth and keyboard player Wybren Feenstra feature in this band of friends.
Theatershow 'Blues is of The Devil'
In this unique show, narrator Marc Stakenburg takes the audience into a beautiful story about the tension between gospel, blues and soul. The live music shapes 'the pictures in the story' being sung and played by top musicians in various settings.

Lola Gulley Band (USA/NL)
When you listen to her soulful voice and style of playing the piano, Lola Gulley, "Atlanta's Queen of the Blues', leaves no doubts: she has grown up with gospel. Her songs are deep, but also swinging. It's blues, soul and gospel and Lola is a true entertainer. She is accompanied by a 3-8 musicians.
The Tilburg band, The Antones have a long and successful history in the Dutch Rhythm & Blues scene.
Inspired by the sounds of Bobby Bland, Hollywood Fats, Junior Wells, Ronnie Earl and The Fabulous Thunderbirds, there is no stopping them once they get started.

Lil' Jimmy Reed Band (USA/UK/NL)
Leon “Lil’ Jimmy Reed” Atkins originally is from Louisiana. Meanwhile, 77 years old, he brings you, like no one else can, close to the unmistakable sound of the real Jimmy Reed. A style that has had a major impact on, for example, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and Status Quo.

Robbert Fossen & Dave Warmerdam
They won the Dutch Blues Challenge 2016!
Since the end of 2015 Robbert and Dave present themselves as a duo. They especially play the blues from Chicago with songs from Otis Spann, Muddy Waters and John Brim but you can also find songs from Ray Charles, Bill Withers and many others on their setlist.

Started as a duo by impulse and found to be too good to not continue.

Little Mama & The Motherhood of Blues
Little Mama & The Motherhood of Blues play their interpretations of famous and lesser known blues songs, without preference for a certain style of blues. They are influenced by Louisiana- and Delta blues, country blues, gospel, and even jazz.
The Men - Unplugged consist of Gerrit van der Spaan on guitar and vocals and George Reijnders on blues harp.
This duo has a sound of their own and plays both authentic blues as well as self-composed songs.

Leakin' Roof are four talented, 16-20 years young, musicians keeping the blues alive. Exploring the 'ins and outs' of blues their repertoire ranges from old school blues to modern blues and blues rock. Together with their tutor Robbert Fossen they also perform in his Tribute to Muddy Waters.
Willie Buck is just as Tail Dragger one of the last of that generation authentic Chicago Blues singers. Willie was born and 1937 and since the fifties active on the scene.
His voice and style is often compared with Muddy Waters.
